About Me - The Butler

I’m Stephen Butler, founder of The Butler & The Van, based in Sheffield and serving South Yorkshire and beyond.

I’ve worked in the retail and delivery industry all my adult life—from warehouses and shop floors to delivering for major UK furniture and mattress brands. I’ve lifted, shifted, assembled, and installed just about everything you can imagine. So when it comes to building beds or awkward furniture moves, I don’t shy away—I get stuck in.

As a lifelong motorbike enthusiast, I also understand how frustrating it is when your bike breaks down or needs moving. That’s why I offer motorbike transport and emergency bike collections too—perfect for when the breakdown companies can’t help.

I bring years of hands-on experience, a quality reliable van, and my helpful, no-fuss attitude.

Just a real bloke, no bollocks! When you book with me 'The Butler & The Van', you deal with me directly—no call centres, no receptionist or companies so no confusion. My wife works nights so I truly understand life doesn’t run 9–5. I offer early mornings, evenings, and weekend bookings to fit your schedule.

I’m also proud to support my wife’s business: Mrs Butler’s Gala of Games, offering fun casino nights for parties, weddings, and corporate events across South Yorkshire. And yes—you’ll usually find me doing the heavy lifting, setting up roulette wheels and blackjack tables. Usually you'll find me dealing the fun casinos Blackjack table as I love some cheeky banter.
